Centenary Competition for Schools 2013

Make your school part of our centenary celebrations

2013 marks 100 years of Cambridge English exams – the first candidates took Cambridge English: Proficiency (CPE) in 1913. We would like to invite you and your students to be part of our centenary celebrations. We have chosen 10 themes for Penfriends schools to choose from. Each of these themes has a range of activities for different ages and stages of learner. Choose an activity and share the results with your partner school. Then enter the competition as well for a chance to win some great prizes!

About the class projects

There are 10 projects you can work on with your students, each with 10 supporting activities – 100 activities to celebrate our centenary. The projects are suitable for learners from 5 to 19 years old and are designed to engage and motivate your students with their English learning.
