The British Council and Cambridge English Language Assessment are pleased to invite your students to attend our spring 2014 “Tips for Cambridge English: First (FCE) for Schools” and “Tips for Cambridge English: Proficiency (CPE)” seminars, in the light of the upcoming May examination sessions.

Cambridge English Educational Consultants Olga Leontaris and Stephen Taylor in Athens and British Council’s Academic Manager Cliff Parry in Thessaloniki will provide practical advice to help your students feel more confident on the exam day. They will be given tips on how to tackle a variety of tasks in the Reading, Writing and Speaking Papers of the Cambridge English: First (FCE) for Schools and Cambridge English: Proficiency (CPE) exams. Activities will demonstrate how they can improve their test performance by employing effective strategies like skimming and scanning texts, recognizing paraphrase (Reading), identifying and addressing key content points appropriately (Writing) and responding with extended and relevant contributions (Speaking).

These seminars are free of charge and available only to candidates taking these tests with the British Council.

The seminars are scheduled to take place on 12th April 2014 in both cities at the following venues:

Athens:

Royal Olympic hotel, Athanasiou Diakou 28-34, Tel. 210 9288400

Thessaloniki:

Mediterranean Palace hotel, Salaminos 3, Tel. 2310 552554

An invitation has been sent by the British Council with the exact time of the seminars to all our registered candidates. Booking is not necessary. If you need further information please contact Ms Andy Papadimitriou at 2310 378 316.
