Our Cambridge English TV YouTube channel has now passed a million views. The channel, which has over 17,000 subscribers, regularly broadcasts videos on learning and teaching English language, our exams and people. This is an 874% increase in total views since January 2013.

To better understand what we usually broadcast about you can look at this video, the first in a small series on popular English idioms. These short fun clips show the literal meaning followed by figurative meaning and definition. Please note idioms are not tested as part of any Cambridge English Language Assessment examination.

Another video shows Alberto Prandini, a Cambridge English: Proficiency certificate holder from Italy, talking about his work as an interpreter and Assistant Director on a recent theatrical production of ‘I Was a Rat’ in the UK, and discussing his experiences of the exam and learning English.
