Thousands of school students from 33 locations across Italy competed for a place in the final of Kangourou English – a competition organised by Cambridge English and Kangourou Italia.
The annual competition, now in its third year, is open to primary and secondary school students. It is a chance for talented students to showcase their English language skills. In the semi-finals, over 3000 Italian students took a test delivered through the AISLI school network. The test was specially developed by Cambridge English in collaboration with Kangourou Italia.

Nick Beer, Regional Director Southern Europe said:

‘The Kangourou competition gives us a great opportunity to celebrate the excellent standards of English which so many Italian students achieve.’

In May 100 finalists from Italy will sit a computer-based Cambridge English exam to decide the winners.
